Meet the Makers

In August of 2013, my wife and I traveled to Puerto Rico to visit my family. Although we had been together for many years, it was her very first time meeting them. During our stay, I had the special opportunity to introduce her to a family treasure—Millan family rum. The moment she tasted it, she immediately recognized its exceptional flavor and believed others would fall in love with it just as she had.

This cherished recipe, originally crafted by my great-grandfather and lovingly passed down through generations—from my grandfather to my uncle—sparked a dream between us. The idea of sharing this unique, heritage-rich rum with the world took root, and from that vision, Millan Liquor was born.

After months of dedication and refinement—perfecting not only the recipe but also the details of every bottle, from the label design to the selection of the cork—we proudly arrived at a finished product that captures our passion and legacy. The result is the bottle and drink you know and love today.
